We started Underground because people asked for gear. We have an internal mantra of making stuff so cool that employees will want to wear it… even on the weekend. We started selling swag with no profit, because a couple people online asked about Mint swag. The store completely sold out each time we brought it back. So, the store kept getting bigger (more variety and larger quantities of items). Now, it is a fun way for us to bring merch to the world… and still not make any money. We do this because it is fun – and the exact opposite of what Big Wireless would do - there are no other reasons.
